What this is
Public protocol, documented properly.
None of this is proprietary. Texas SET and MarkeTrak are published market standards that every retailer in ERCOT already has to implement. What has been missing is a readable index of them — so we generated one from the same catalogs our platform runs on.

Generated from the catalogs the platform runs on.
These pages are not transcribed by hand. They are built from the same type catalogs and taxonomies our services validate against, and the build fails if the two drift apart. That is the only way a reference stays worth citing.
Two caveats we would rather state than have you discover. First, this is a transaction-level classification— ERCOT’s published Implementation Guides remain authoritative for segment-level detail, and you should read them before building anything. Second, the plain-English labels here are our renderings, not ERCOT’s official display strings; where a page shows a wire code, the wire code is the authoritative token.
